In spite of being situated in a wild oak wilderness, the Cottage is only 6 minutes from Buellton, with grocery stores, restaurants and shopping.

The large back patio area facing the animal corral has a picnic table and a gas bar-b-que that is great for relaxing while watching the grazing cattle meander by at the end of the day. The Cottage is completely furnished with beds, couches, dressers, linens, dishes, etc. 

Wine Tasting (including Sideways, the movie set), beaches, the Danish town of Solvang, antiques, Nojoqui Falls, The Chumash Casino (gambling/concerts) are all less than 15 minutes away. There are miles of private roads on the property great for hiking, jogging, and mountain biking. You will enjoy the rolling hills, canyons, valleys, and seasonal creeks and ponds. During winter and through the early summer months the grass is green and the ponds are often full. The views are always beautiful.
